AnaBios has developed methodologies for the perfusion of human tissue samples with solutions that temporarily induce metabolic arrest and slow down the biochemical processes responsible for cell and tissue ischemic damage. This approach allows AnaBios to halt the depletion of intracellular ATP reserves and creates an ionic transmembrane balance compatible with the preservation of cellular integrity.  After receiving the samples and prior to the start of experimentation, AnaBios then employs proprietary reperfusion protocols that prevent reperfusion injury and  free radical damage.
